Future Technologies

This week, I learned about Future Technologies. For this, I watched some old videos and read old articles that were predicting the technologies that we have today. Surprisingly for me, most of the assumptions that were made have been correct. This makes me wonder if we might already know about most of the technologies that will pop up in the upcoming years.
Just like in the week that I have learned about web 2.0, I am now wondering again what web 3.0 has in store for us. Is web 3.0 the next wave of technological advancements or will those still count to the web 2.0 era? I guess that that will depend on what advancements will come forth. If not much will change and the technologies will just be a bit more refined, web 2.0 will most likely still be the umbrella term that encompasses the advancements. But if, for example, like in some movies, technology will be incorporated into the human body as a chip that could monitor our health or apps will change features according to physical conditions that one is in, like the users, location or weather, it is time for a new web 3.0 era.
